Increased Brightness Due to MLA Technology.
Due to micro-lens array (MLA) that increases the brightness not originally found on LCD projectors, the PX-31 delivers a pretty bold image with its 2800 lumens. The result is extremely bright video and data images not affected by low and medium light. This amount of brightness can definitely be used for large presentations on a 25 ft. diagonal screen.

This projector does not use micro-lens array (MLA) like its bigger brother the PX-31, but this projector has the power to project out an outstanding 1800 lumens. That is definitely sufficient enough for boardroom presentations and we would have to say that this projector is good enough to projector to large groups on a 12 ft. diagonal. This amount of brightness that this project displays is even sufficient to present in these environments in low and medium light.

2000 ANSI Lumens MLA For Large Boardroom Presentations
The Sony PX-15 displays an incredible 2000 lumens that will make a mesmerizing impression on large crowds of over 200 people. With that amount of power you will be able to display video and data in a moderately lit auditorium.

Great Compression When Using Higher and Lower Resolutions
The Sony PX-15 is a native XGA projector with the capabilities to handle both higher and lower resolutions, and it does it well from what we have seen. Whether you need to occasionally present high resolution applications, or need to share the projector with an associate that only supports lower resolutions like SVGA, you can rest assured that you will have a projector that is capable of handling the job.

A Projector Ideal For Fixed Installation
The Sony PX-15 is a rather large projector by today's standards, so this is not a projector designed for travel.

PC Card For PC Free Presentations
With the built in memory stick you will be able to travel lighter since you won't need to bring a laptop. All you need to do is load your presentation on to the memory stick, put it into the slot on the side of the projector and your presentation is ready to go.

Preinstalled Web Browser
If the projector is connected to the network, you will also be able to browse the Internet. The PX-15 has an on-board web browser.

Resolution: XGA (1024 x 768)
Lumens: 900 ANSI Lumens
Weight: 5.5 lbs.

900 Lumens for Medium Sized Presentations and Portable Applications The Sony CX-3's 900 lumens are just the right amount of light for presenting in boardrooms and classrooms. With this projector you have the power to present to medium size groups in medium note taking light.

LCD Technology For Vibrant Colors With LCD technology you will have greater distribution of light and vibrant color saturation compared to the image of brighter DLP projectors. With this type of performance the CX-3 will be able to match the projection capabilities of a 1200 lumen DLP projector.
